Upload your original bios file and write your device serial number.
I don't know much about vbios, but also you should upload the backup file and write your graphic card details.

I have a somewhat unusual case of a laptop where the previous ‘technician' uploaded the wrong bios to the laptop...


Namely, the laptop with the model FX506LH has the bios from FX506LI uploaded which as you can guess has caused a number of problems with the battery and graphics card....

Is anyone able to make a BIOS image for me so that the FX506LI via EzFlash wants to upload the version from the FX506LH?

Unfortunately, currently when I want to upload the correct one it displays that invalid BIOS file.


I am attaching the image from the LI and LH to the post.

We can post a bios for you but it won`t be flashable with EzFlash , only with an SPI programmer.

Ive found a blank one on the forum but i couldnt edit the serial number by myself. Also Windows doesnt acknoledge the graphic card (gtx 1650) even though it shows in bios, not sure if its due to the serial number being wrong?

Thank you, the vbios worked and windows now detects the graphic card.
I tried to change the serial number in the bios, but i really can't figure it out. I took a look at WBT and AMIDEDOS but no success so far.
What are the consequences of the serial number not matching the one on the sticker? Can i still use the computer normally?
