Hello there, got a blackscreen on 2 identical computers.
Was wondering if the bios could be the issue, anyone know if its corrupted?

Thank you, the vbios worked and windows now detects the graphic card.
I tried to change the serial number in the bios, but i really can't figure it out. I took a look at WBT and AMIDEDOS but no success so far.
What are the consequences of the serial number not matching the one on the sticker? Can i still use the computer normally?...

Hello, im looking for a bios for an asus tuf F15-TUF506LH-HN270
Motherboard: DABKXDMB8F0 REV: F
Serial Number: M7NRCX07E500307
Ive found a blank one on the forum but i couldnt edit the serial number by myself. Also Windows doesnt acknoledge the graphic card (gtx 1650) even though it shows in bios, not sure if its due to the serial number being wrong?
Thank you
Edit: Just realised i posted it in the wrong section
Let me know if i should repost...

Found it!
As i was going to clear it i was looking through the bin file and found an hex almost identical to the one posted above, the only difference is it start with 38 instead of 18 which gives a "c" instead of a "C".
I then tried "calvisac" and it worked.
Lesson learned for next time. Thank you guys for the help.

Well i won't try on this laptop because thanks to Maxpower there is no more password.
But i've just opened an other one and tried the same thing and it doesnt work aswell.
Ive tried Cqlvisqc & Calvisac, Ive tried to look up for differences other than A-Q on US-FR keyboard but nothing that would matter for this password. Not sure what else i can do. I don't have an US keyboard sadly.

So i did try to clear the password myself, it didnt work the laptop was still asking for a password.
Then i tried with your bin file and it worked!
Thank you very much, do you mind me asking what did you blank exactly? I see in your bin file you did remove the password the same way i did, did you do anything else?

Alright my bad here it is:
Serial Number: N9NRCX10B441398
No i didn't try on this laptop, the full story is i bought 10 asus tuf laptops locked by bios password. My idea was to try to fix them to resell them.
Anyway, on the first laptop i tried to recover the password with the same method and the password i got was not working, i then tried to blank the password in the bin file but that didn't work either as the pc was still asking for a password.
I will try to clear that one also and see if it works this time.Alright my bad here...

Question about recovering Asus bios password
Hello, this is my first post on the forum, my apologies if i don't post in the right place.
Im trying to recover an asus bios password using this method.
I follow every step and it seems to work out well because i get a password but sadly the password doesn't work.
In my case, there is 2 times the same string that perfectly match the decyption hex, so my guess was that there is an user & an admin password and they are the same.
This is the string "0993C72677BA5C4DF3E012744407E89A0A2E8EC1E95444E89F7BFA0E55A2B0350BC9665CC1EF1C83"....
