                                Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have been having problems with my V15-ADA since the last BIOS update. During normal operation, it freezes with red stripes on the display and can only be made usable again by restarting it.
I tried installing the latest BIOS from the Lenovo website, but that didn't help.

Can anyone customize a BIOS file for me so that I can install it with the CH341a?

Attached are the technical data and a backup of the BIOS.

I tested the BIOS version. Unfortunately, the same error occurred. Does anyone have an older BIOS version?

There are many older bios versions on the forum https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...87#post3579887

If you want older executable updates edit the number in the link. The latest is 41 so try 40,39,38 etc. https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...s/e8cn41ww.exe

Bios is not the always issue. Possible onboard ram could be failure

I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                                          Initial Findings:
                                          • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                                          • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                                          • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.

                                          • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.

                                          Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                          Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                                          History:

                                          1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

Lenovo P1 g1 Type 20MD-002PUS "BIOS Help Needed"
                                          by cyber16
                                          Please I need help.

Quick rundown long story shorter, but still long winded.
I received this Lenovo P1 GEN 1 about a year ago from a business.

It was pretty much dead hit the power button and the LED on the power light would come on as would the keyboard back light a couple times and just shut off or go into high speed fan mode without life other than the power button led.

At that time it was still under warranty, I spoke to Lenovo and I was going to send it in to have them repair it.

Then late last fall my father-in-law suffered...

Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. I may have screwed the chip or even the motherboard (Hopefully not), I am trying to see if there is a fix before I discard it. I had a couple...
