      Hi guys,
i need help with a possible corrupted bios.
I have an asus rog strix g531GV-AL022 which shows only black screen. As CPU/GPU get warm and keyboard animations work (and i don't have any shorts on the power rails) I suspect the bios to be corrupt.
I already dumped the original BIOS with CH314. I then tried reflashing with several versions, first the original from the website (.307-file which is 2KB bigger than the dump which didn't work). I then removed the encapsulation by opening the .307-file with UEFITool NE and extracting the UEFI-image, which lead to the correct file size but ended in not working at all, laptop is not powering on at all with this.
I also tried some bios versions I found here, but they don't work either.
Attach you'll find both my original dump and the .307 version from the asus website.
      Details of the machine:
      Sn: K7NRCV034304297
      CN: KLK5
      Board is:
      G531GW r1.6

[TUTORIAL] fix asus bios with bios from asus web support (by razor_amd)
        by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

Need real mobo dump of BIOS v402 for ASUS PRIME Z590-A - stock image no help
        by DynaxSC
        Hi,

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Usually on ASUS boards it worked...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
        by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

        Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

        Troubleshooting Attempts:

Sorry for creating a second post, I didn't understand how to fix the error in the message. I need help, laptop ASUS P1412CE (P1411CEA-EK0395X) SN: N4NXCV033901146. Request BIOS dump for ASUS FA617NS-A16.R77600
        by kcp0085
Aloha, I'm trying to recover my ASUS TUF Gaming A16 (FA617NS-A16.R77600)
I have the CH341A programmer and can flash the BIOS chip directly. I need a verified full .bin dump (2MB or full SPI region) for this specific model.

        Specs:
        - ASUS TUF FA617NS-A16
        - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7
        - BIOS chip: Winbond W25Q16JVSIQ (2MB)

If anyone has a full dump or can share from a working unit, it would be hugely appreciated.

        Thanks in advance!
