After applying the patch, computer cycles thru different colors, followed by 3 ember/6 white blink pattern, suggesting BIOS error.Comment

I flashed the BIOS with your file and I only get the keyboard coming on and turning itself off every 5 seconds or so.Comment

I let the computer run for like 30 minutes. It is doing the same thing. Fan runs up fast initially, then stops. Meanwhile, the keyboard lights up, then turns itself off and it just cycles non-stop.
Yes, I flashed the original bios and I am getting the password prompt when attempting to go into bios.Comment

Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, ๐ ๐ ๐ ... -
