I am looking for a suggestion here. I have a Dell Latitude 5420. On start, the keyboard lights up,no video, the current builds up from 0a to 0.4amp. Once the current hits about 0.4amp, computer reboots with no activity, the cycle repeats. I flashed the bios using the BIN from 2 other Latitude 5420's but this didn't make any changes. So, I don't think corrupted BIOS is the problem.
What should I check next?Comment

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
(from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)
I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
