Hello everyone. So I've searched this site and haven't been able to find a .BIN for this particular laptop. I'm a computer repair tech and have a XPS 7590 that powers on, but that's about it. Screen is black, keyboard lights up, CAPs light up for about 15 seconds then turns off, then nothing. It looks like a BIOS corruption behavior wise, but when I look at it with UEFI tool, it does open as an Intel image. Anyway, I was hoping someone could look at the .bin for me and see if they can repair it (if necessary). Thanks for anyone that takes the time to read this and help out. It would be VERY much appreciated. I can't find a clean bin to try anywhere.

Your file isn't good and can't be repaired, perhaps you need to read it again correctly.
I also attached a BIOS file that could help you.

I have a Dell XPS 15 7590 i7 + gtx1650 with OLED & fingerprint 97Wh battery. Service Tag: C4FK0Z2
Automatic bios update went south (stuck progress bar for hours, battery full and charger connected) and couldn't recover with usb (gets stuck at Dell logo).
In a pinch, I followed this link to make a programmer using an arduino, desoldered the flash and flashed this file
Now it booted but I have a considerably slow POST, ~30-40 seconds before the Dell logo. I entered the service tag in the bios.
I don't know if the bios image supports all configurations of this machine or just the configuration of the uploader's machine.
Do I need to do another flash with a different file or ME/TXE clean?
I am looking here but still lost a bit

by kantusjackHello,
I am troubleshooting a Dell XPS 12 with motherboard 9Q23 (Compal LA-8821P) that failed during a Windows 10 update. The system powered off abruptly and never booted again. Initial behaviour- No display at any time (internal or external)
- Power button would immediately shut the system off
- System auto-powers when AC adapter is connected (battery removed)
- Beep code: 3 beeps – pause – 3 beeps (continuous)
- Fan never spins

by TeslaI have a Dell XPS-15 (9520) with the LA-L402P motherboard. It seems to have bricked itself after a common BIOS-Firmware upgrade. Now, it just shows BIOS screen for a few seconds before turning-itself back Off (and doesn't seem to be fully Posting). I've done these many times before with no problems.
I was hoping to please have my own-thread to work-through this (hopefully successful) repair as a whole. Apart from the possible need to have a BIOS-dump fixed-up, I have a feeling I'm going to have other questions. This includes using my new XGecu-T76 for the first time (should be here... -
by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... - Loading...
