Find your bios and upload the dump here, it will be useful at least for the DMI/Windows key info, both should be transferred to the new bios. Also what "rolled up the bios from open access" mean?

my bios that stood after replacing the PCH worked for about 2-3 hours, after the system stopped starting - I found another bios in which the system works stably, but the problem is that it does not display nvme, and sees only sata

Is there something wrong with you,can`t you read replies. Read post #63 .If you can`t find the serial number or the serial is missing SAY SO,if you don`t have a bios backup or can`t make a backup SAY SO.

What if I don't have a back-up because in all my life of flashing aftermarket data I never had a problem until I tried to unlock the most crippled gaming rig line in history with all its' fancy protections? What do I need to get my an515-57-919c a BIOS it can take? I'm thinking I corrupted the ME region or something, just get fans and heat with boot loop, USB wont detect either.

I was on v1.19 on a GH53G LA-L191P Rev1C. Can I upload the right .fd file and give some info like serials and such? Another thought, I used an EFI patcher so theoretically, could someone take my current dead BIOS (which I have to buy the tool to dump) and reverse the changes made as detailed in the patch config file?

Buy the tool,make a full bios dump then post it here.Post the serial number of the laptop as well,

Hello! I have a repaired Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57-51RC that recently returned from Acer. Unfortunately, the serial number, SNID, and Device Idea aren't the same. I know BIOS requests are the topic for this thread. Please accept my apologies for asking here.

I'd like to edit the BIOS back to my original numbers. Mainly to access my paid Windows 10 Pro and Office Product keys. I've seen the Acer tools to edit the BIOS, but this laptop will not boot from a Rufus created FreeDOS USB drive. I entered the BIOS, set the password so I could disable fast boot, enable the boot menu, and a few other recommended settings. Still won't boot from the FreeDOS USB drive.

Would anyone assist me in creating a bootable FreeDOS USB drive, adjust the needed BIOS settings, and use the Acer DNI tools?

Would it be easier to simply provide the numbers and flash the BIOS from software? Or do the tools here require an EEPROM writer for it?

I'd prefer trying to correct the SNID, Serials, and Device IDs through software if possible.
