Hi, can anyone do me a favour to re-do this ASUS L406M Bin files again & make it working 100%. There is no display at all but I see it takes 11milli amp (Up & down a bit) when I attach the amp meter. Copy of the original Bin File is attach. Thanks in advance.

Post a picture of the long white barcode sticker. It will have a model number on it, that number is sometimes different to the silkscreened number https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=96604Comment

Not working at all. On the orignal BIOS teh motherboard was drawing about 10mlli amp but the one Bin FIles which you sent me, I programmed the chip & the amp meter, DRAWS NO CURRENT, still on ZERO. I think a bit of more fixing required in the bin files.Comment

Hi., Bin Files Not working, Same Status, the White Power LED stays on & no current drawn stuck at 0 amp, I even turn it on from the keyboard on/off button. But with the original Bin file at least 10~14 milli amp were drawn. Please rectify if any you or anyone can. Thank you.Comment

With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

I updated my pc, from Evga z270 itx to Asus b660-i itx motherboard. In my old z270 motherboard everything whas easy because everything in bios was unlocked (fd, me etc), and could do everything I want.
Now in my Asus b660 everything is locked (except main bios region). I dont mind so much but I want to unlock bios so I can flash a new splash screen (I have done it with my old motherboard).
I made a bios dump with FPT (fptw64 -d mod.rom -bios), I modded it and I tried to flash back

I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..
I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....
