Both of you want the X513EAN bios. Use the Asus F1 service bios from post 20, X513EANF1302.zip .Copy your DMI (serial number, windows key) from your backup to the new bios using the attached macro script, instructions are in the README text file.
If you can use a hex editor these are the offsets: 660000 - 66FFFF .If you want to update from version 302 get the bios update from Asus support - https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/...helpdesk_bios/

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

by akwkyHi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).
Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...04-14-2025, 01:56 PM -
by al3m0diUpdate bios EFCN58WW to EFCN59WW for solving The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter
I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15imh05a device that I bought used online. It came with a 20V 8.5A 170W charger.
The BIOS version is EFCN58WW.
When I turn on the device, it displays the message:
"The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter..."
The device rarely charges the battery, and even when it does, it doesn't show that it's charging.
I've tried
