MSI GP72 6QF Leopard Pro not powering up
Hi,
I have a MSI GP72 6QF Leopard Pro [ms-1795]
After replacing CPU fan, laptop was not powering up anymore. With visual inspection, everything seems okay.
Blue led lights up when charging. Power button does nothing and voltage is present at button. 19.5V Present, tried cmos reset but nothing seems to help.
Only lead I found was that seems like +3V line is shorted (shows same value as gnd in diode mode)
Any tips on this?... -

Hi,
I need help troubleshooting this laptop.
When I got this, seller said it might have water damage.
[URL="https://i.imgur.com/zgr9Bk8.jpg"]It had blown mosfet[/URL] near charger connector, so there must be short elsewhere what caused this.
I measured few capacitors, and many of them shows there is short somewhere.
I cant find any schematic for this motherboard (DABKLIMBAB0 REV: B)
I also tried lifting another leg of inductors to isolate shorted area.
What should I do next?

Acer S277HK horizontal flickering lines
Hi,
I have Acer S277HK 4k 27" display, and the problem is it has flickering horizontal lines. Display panel is M270QAN01.1
I disassembled monitor and checked every connection and looked for obivious marks of failure. It seems like earlier owner have replaced power unit caps at some point, I will replace those when I get new caps, but they seemed okay.
Horizontal lines are more clearly visible at top of display.
Here is photo of mainboard from internet, I can take better photo myself tomorrow

HP 6830s no power, orange light blinking
Hi,
I am beginner in motherboard repairs, and I am troubleshooting a laptop which suddenly stopped working.
When battery or charger is connected, charging port light up as blue and orange light starts blinking. Power button does nothing.
I disassembled laptop, and measured all power rails and everything seems fine.
