Good morning Gentlemen of great wisdom. I need your valuable help in the following case: I have an EliteBook 840 G8 computer that arrived with a password in the bios. The first mistake I make is not taking the backup of the 3 chips before starting to modify. I tried to remove the password by unlocking the EC and the device turned on once but still had the password. The Second time I tried to unlock the password both Main Bios and EC. From that moment the equipment tries to start in a loop without providing video. I have tried the bios backups that are on the Internet and the same thing, I am sure that there is no missing resistance nor is there any altered nearby component, I must also say that everything has been perfectly welded. As additional information, I must say that with my bios backups the computer does not beep for a ram memory error, but with a backup found on the internet it does beep for a ram error but it still continues in a loop without video.
HP EliteBook 840 G8, SN# 5CG1411K3R, Board CORVETTE-6050A3217501-MB-A01(A1) UMA HSN-I41C-4. The board is SRK1F (Core I7). I appreciate any help provided.
Additional addendum: I suspect that the bios of Core 5 and Core 7 SRK1F are different if they are on the same board.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

by traxformaniaHello,
I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
by NopslideHello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....-

The batch from which the password was removed works correctly but... after some time, the BIOS password is set again, I reprogrammed the batch with the removed password, it's ok, there is no password, I set my password, ok, I can enter the BIOS with my password but...-

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
