Good morning Gentlemen of great wisdom. I need your valuable help in the following case: I have an EliteBook 840 G8 computer that arrived with a password in the bios. The first mistake I make is not taking the backup of the 3 chips before starting to modify. I tried to remove the password by unlocking the EC and the device turned on once but still had the password. The Second time I tried to unlock the password both Main Bios and EC. From that moment the equipment tries to start in a loop without providing video. I have tried the bios backups that are on the Internet and the same thing, I am sure...Leave a comment:

Gentlemen of great wisdom, I come to your help with the following case: An Asus Taichi 21 arrives and the laboratory source stops at 490mA. I make measurements and determine damage in corrupted bios. I have downloaded all the bios dumps that I have found on the Internet and with most of them it turns me on but does not detect NVME. in Taichi21 NVME has a different socket and I don't have a way to test another NVME. But I don't see the logic that the NVME is damaged by a corrupt bios. Any idea why it doesn't detect NVME in bios? I attach my corrupt bios and any help thank you very much. -

Update: Everything solved thanks to all. I used UEFI tools, I extracted ME region and put it in another bios that I found in the forum. Closed topic.
