Yes. Try it, and if it doesn`t work use the DMI from another, then change DMI with Lenovo Golden Key U1 tool https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...24#post1622424

Hello colleagues, I'm also having problems with the BIOS of a Lenovo S145-15IIL Placanm-c711 serial number PF21GTSC. I'm sending you the original BIOS because I'm not very familiar with the hexadecimal tool yet.Attached FilesComment

Hello, I have reprogrammed the file but I still have the same symptom, the processor turns on, heats up but I have no video, the screen doesn't even flash, I have tried with an external monitor and nothing, it is strange in this model because I have had the same problem with many Lenovos and entering the BIOS solved it but this one is making me sweat, as for entering the DMI files, I can't find a tutorial, can you help me?Comment

Well, I've checked all the subsources. CPU, memory, always 3V and 5V source and everything is correct, the processor heats up quite a bit so I think it's because of the BIOS, worse as I told you, it's strange that I've tried several and it doesn't work.Comment

Backup the bios chip again, open it with ME Analyzer, if it says the File System State is Configured then the PCH hasn`t even read the bios chip, if it`s Initialised the bios has been read. You can try another chip, look carefully at your soldering and for missing parts, then keep checking hardware, get the schematic if it`s available and look at the power sequence.Comment

Let's see if I make a copy of the one I had later and look at it with my analyzer to see what comes out.
I put in the second photo the result of the biosComment

This image is the one that appears when I execute the original file, so I don't know if it was copied correctly or if that bios was already damaged. Regarding the chip, normally the reprogrammer detects when the chip is bad and this is not the case.

Well, one of the things I had in mind was to deactivate the RAM on the motherboard but I wanted to leave it for last as a last resort. Well after all I decided to reprogram a file to deactivate it and I see that another colleague has also put it in, and surprise it gave me a screen and bios light.
My next question is, since the integrated memory has been disabled, it would only work with the memory slot I put in it, right? And I couldn't update the bios to the latest version, right? Since I would deactivate everything again? it's right?Comment

I'va also a problem with this model:
Ideapad S145-15IIL- Type 81W8
s/n PF1BY7NE
Mainboard: GS44D/GS54D NM-C711 Re.v 1.0
I tried to program BIOS using the virgin one on post #7 but witout any success.
Power works and battery charge but if I press ON, white power ON LED start to blink and stops only if I keep pressed power button.
I also tried to use an other DDR4 on RAM slot and removed it.
Reading other posts make me feel that problem may be in the BIOS so before to erase chip I made a backup copy fo the original that attach here.

I really didn't know what was going on because mainboard was in good status but while I was examinating I saw just near the CPU a sort of dirt. (see pictures before and next with microscope).
I claned it carefully and next laptop started to works properly.
So I reprogrammed BIOS with the last one of post #33 and next I updated it again via Windows so it update also the EC part.
Finally with U1 Tool I was able to insert DMD.

by jendkkd jejeSo a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.
I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...10-11-2024, 03:12 PM -

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-
