One question: the new bios, obviously, has an empty serial number. Is there any issue with leaving it blank, or should I re-enter it manually? Just wondering if the sn is picked up during software updates or similar scenarios and not having it could cause problems. I left it blank for now.

just skip DMI ERROR on startup or you can fill DMI DATA by the help of Use this HP BCU TOOL

I did unsolder the 32mb bios chip from the board and did read it via ch341a with small wires,
here is my backup .bin
can you please help me unlock the password and if there is computrace disable that?

i did flash and resolder bacm to the board now the caps lock light stuck on and no power

I did brick the laptop it only had bios password but it was bootable with usb flash and to windows
Now i flashed the patched backup bios and the caps lock stays on
I tried to flash my backup and still same.
I tried flashing other backups from the forum still not working only caps lock is on
Please help

hello yes i did resolder and checked all the solders they are ok, i did flash someone elses dump and now the caps lock like flashing, also very milisecond the power light also flashes very light flash when the power cord is plugged in,
i am uploading my original dumps here again the 16mb and 32mb
I did try to put back my original dump it did not work
please help
