Gaming Laptop Zephyrus S17 TFT not detected every time !
            by titomno2
            Hi guys,
I post my problem here because I think it could be a capacitor related issue (Asus support on this particular subject is non-existing).
So the computer is a Zephyrus-S17-GX735LXS-26T and the strange behavior is seen.
On cold start most of the time the internal screen is detected and a picture it works fine until shutdown, sleep or deep sleep.
Then the screen won't work for a long period of time.
If I wait 1 or 2 hours it work again most of the time.
When it doesn't work the batterie indicator blink 3 times white stop and the same schematic is repeated...

Philips 65OLED803 long time to clear residual image
            by myth77
So, the tv is new, like bought 6 month a go...from time to time it asks to confirm that it can go to standby and clean residual image...sometimes i click later but most of the times when i go to sleep i confirm...and in the morning all is fine...
But, yesterday afternoon it asked me again...but this time there was no later option...so i click ok (only option) and i forget about it...later that night i tried to power it on but it was saying that the clearing was not done all the way through...it will go to standby mode and restart cleaning process....so i was thinking ok...maybe i didnt gave...

ESR meter came to the rescue again today with a PLC I/O card fault
            by sam_sam_sam
I have been having a fun time at work with two pieces of equipment that had shorted components or shorted component cables to machine frame
I would check what my multi meter was telling me about how many ohms I getting with the multi meter was telling versus the ESR was telling me about weather or not it really was a short to machine ground or not

One note at first we thought that it might be a bad I/O card or a malfunction PLC including me as well but I thought I would try and see if removing the I/O cables would make a difference or not and this time it did make a difference...

Adding a clock battery to action camera to retain date&time when changing batteries Campark X25
            by flat-earther
I have a cheap action camera with an annoying trait, every time I change batteries the date & time gets reset and I have to set it again.

To solve this problem I want to add a small internal battery inside it which will keep supplying power to the camera for a while while I change batteries so the date & time is retained.

I have opened the camera and I think there is enough room to add something inside to accomplish this:

The camera is powered by a 3.7V nominal single cell lithium ion battery.
So I need to connect another battery in...
