I'm in need of help with this BIOS:
    HP Elitebook 840 g5

Both ec and main bios are in the attachment. Laptop won't boot with this one. I've flashed the bios of a working 840 g5 and it works, but I'm obviously greeted with the infamous endpoint message. Could somebody fix my bios or post here a bios set with clean me and cleared VSS2 store? According to earlier posts the region for the VVS2 store is the same as with the 840 g6 but unfortunately it isn't.
    Thanks in advance!
You`re right about it being different. The offsets are 1AF6048-1B1BFFF

Try thisto clear the VSS2 store https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...security-error

            Hi Guys,

The laptop I have is stuck on a boot loop of death with the bios trying to update itself.

I have tried all the bios that have been posted so far but none seem to work for me.

Does anyone has the original bios file? I've attached what I could read from the chip. From what I gather it's a 16mb version.

Have I been reading/reprogramming the wrong chip all this time? I thought this Winbond chip was my Bios chip... Would it actually be the MxIC instead?

Clean the ME firmware, that should fix it.
