HP 840 G6 BIOS - switch ON the MPM mode

    Hi,

Can you turn on the MPM (Manufacture Programming Mode) in this BIOS, please? Yes I need this BIOS in MPM mode.

Eventually is there any tool to find MPM settings in BIOS (tool that can work with BIN files)?

I know where that HEX is in 8MB BIOS but have no idea where to look for it in 32MB BIOS.

    Thank you.

HP 840 G6 MPM (Manufacturing Programming Mode) turn on

Can Someone indicate tthe procedure to Turn ON the Manufacturing Programing Mode) so as to am,end the DMI

I have tried with the BCU urility by changing the star "**" from "Lock" position to "Unlock" position without any positive result.

I understand that changes in the BIOS (by using the BCU) are only possible if the MPM is in Unlock condition

If someone has different knowledge please post the experience gained.

NO I have not done anything. I gave up . I have searched and stopped. The BIOS MPM remained as it was originally without any changes. If you find something just drop me a message (just form my information)

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                    🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
                    by macabook
                    Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                    🧩 Initial Issue
                    • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                    • External display (HDMI) shows
                    ...

Dell T7820 stuck in Bios Recovery Mode
                    by The_Memory_Guy
                    HI,

I have a Dell T7820 stuck in Bios recovery mode. I never get Dell Boot screen or anything visible on screen. The system just gives me 3 white lights and 3 orange lights indicating Bios recovery mode.

What I have tried to get to recover the Bios, there seems to be some conflicting advice about recovering the system.

All of them say to download the latest bios from the dell website which is a .exe file. I have done that
