Hi Peste and thanks for your reply. From the video, it seems one would require tools to open the PC, etc; something I'd like to avoid. What about the binary file/ USB-reboot method? The file is specific to the Mac's 33-digit number and used to create a bootable USB drive. Is this something you can do?Comment

i read file from the chip and i unlock it by rc unlocker then after write the bios file no power when i touch bord its to hot

Your backup is corrupt, and there is no serial number in it. Rather than trying to fix that mess you can use another bios https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2130326 ,but first you will have to put your serial number into it, you can use Muerto`s MAC EFI Toolkit to do that https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ac-efi-toolkitOriginally posted by nuremobile View Post

4.3. Apple
For 2017 and older machines, serial number is stored in Fsys store of BIOS and can be edited with hexadecimal editor. Fsys checksum needs to be fixed afterwards
Search for "ssn", edit the serial number, save, open dump in UEFITool, go to the Fsys store and write down the suggested checksum in the panel on the right. Checksum is 4 bytes at the end of the Fsys store, between one zone of 0x00 either Gaid or another zone of 0xFF, it must be written in reverse order (so last 2 characters from UEFITool must be written first).
