Good afternoon, my Lenovo Thinkpad turns on but it doesn't show the image, nor on the external monitor and capslook doesn't work either.
Everything indicates that the bios is damaged, can you help me fix it?

I tried the bios from post #19 and now the power button flashes 3 times when connecting the charger and does nothing else.

    I appreciate help

The BIOS from post #19 works fine, but when you enable the update from Windows or from a bootable USB flash drive, an error window appears Click image for larger version

Thanks, friend! But with your BIOS it doesn't turn on either. When you connect the power, the power button blinks 3 times and nothing else happens.

Greetings all, working on an X1 Carbon 7th Gen model 20QD with board FX-490 NM-B861 Rev 1.0
              Type: 20QD-001VUS
              Serial: PF-1DZRD0

Facing an issue where the laptop is completely dead (no LEDs, no power at all, no fan spin). I do not have an image of the current corrupted BIOS as the chip won't read in my reader. Confirmed that the chip has pins 3 and 4 shorted, may have been my fault as I fumbled with a SOIC-8 Clip, not entirely sure. I ordered replacement chips from Digikey and would like an image to flash to them if possible.

Hello, the bios on my Lenovo TD350 ThinkServer got corrupted during a bios update, the bios restore function killed the Server.
I need to flash the bios inside the MX25L12835F SOP8, i have already desolder the chip and solder it into my SOP8 adapter and read it with a ROM programmer.
I use the innoextract 1.9 software to extract the bios file from the .exe file that i download from lenovo website, can you help me edit the Hex file (removing the Index part and resize the file)?

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon 11th Gen BIOS problem
                by MaxonDomkrat
                Hi everyone.

I have an engineering sample of a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 11th Gen (TYPE 21HM-2FVT05, S/N PF-40G7CD) with an Intel Core i7 1360P (ES – Intel 0000). Since this is an engineering sample, the BIOS had a massive number of various settings. One day, I was experimenting with the BIOS settings and, after saving them, the laptop stopped booting and played a melody after pressing the power button, signaling error code 0002 (Internal bus error), just like in this post: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...shooting-lapto...

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

                Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                Initial Findings:
                • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
                • I concluded that the

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
                by Wahaz
                Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 Desktop - Corrupt BIOS
                by grimacelord
                Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                History:

                1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...
