Really? I believe these Lenovo ThinkPad 9th Gen models have the Self-Healing bios, which prevent AS DXE Patch from working and recovers itself from backup bios.
I’m thinking that your ThinkPad may have had just a Power-On Password (stored in volatile memory), instead of a Supervisor Password.
What’s the procedure that you performed, did you disconnected CMOS battery at some point?Comment

With this dump it turned out to be done, only the ME region needs to be transferred from the original dump.Comment

Need help bios L390 1.36 computrace activated
Hi, I have with a Thinkpad L390 after patching original bios to remove password
the laptop make a Bips sound, then nothing! blackscreen After a reflash with original bios it work but still password . Please I need a good patched bios. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set.... -
