Re: THINKPAD L390 password
Thank you, the supervisor password has been removed and I have access to the BIOS. The serial number is fine, but when I boot I get the message Error 2204:System configuration data is invalid, although the laptop starts and works. I installed the Lenovo Diagnostics Evolution diagnostic program but all tests pass. I don't know how to fix this...Comment

by badzymandiazI have a laptop that was purchased second-hand, and I am able to boot Windows on and extract the BIOS dump (ONLY the BIOS region, I was unable to dump anything else due to an FCERR I received trying to dump the other regions) and use normally. However, because the BIOS is locked with a supervisor password, I am unable to use anything else except for Windows, and it has also disabled some hardware features of the laptop itself, such as the fingerprinting module, etc. that I really do wish to use.
I have been digging around for nearly 2 weeks trying to find any mention of the same model...-
