Hi, can someone help me with supervisor password? I dumped the chip marked BIOS1 with RT809F. Thanks.
I think I found the password but the computer doesn't accept it, and I can't patch the bios dump because it's not recognized by the latest autopatcher, it can't find BootOption and LenovoTranslateService dxe drivers, is there someone who could help me, please?
Thank you for your time.

Already done, but that's not the problem. The autopatcher can't get to the volumes patching phase because it can't find the dxe drivers in the first phase.
I don't know if there's a problem with the dump, but every time I read it with the RT809F the md5 of the dump is different and the programmer software fails the verification. Anyway, I can open and browse it with UEFITool without problems.
I tried to patch the bios update file 1.49 downloaded from the Lenovo website with success, but I'm scared to try to write it because I don't know how to validate my dump for the reasons mentioned above.
I attached the bios update file patched if you want to see it, this is NOT my bios dump.
Thank you.

Hi, could someone help me unlock this BIOS please.
Lenovo Thinkpad L490

I have tried the autopatcher, and get the tune. I have also tried replacing the section of the bin file that has been changed in all of the successful unlocks in the thread 0x410000 - 4EFFFF. It seem to be the same in all. This just causes it to power cycle.
If anyone could tell me how to do this myself, that would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, it is an L390. That was a typo in the post.
I have solved it now.
I couldn't get it to work at all by modifying the BIOS. I tried autopatching using volinakis EfiSystemNvDataFvGuid_L390.bin in VOLUMES, also tried manually replacing the sections with UEFITool and even HxD. Each time it would just power cycle on boot.
I ended up removing the password using the shorting LPC pins method.
SMDFlea you can remove the attachment and/or my posts. It wont be useful to anyone as I don't think that file can be patched successfully.

Hi, could someone please help me with patching this BIOS file for L390 laptop (model: 20NR-S03000), as with everyone else the Autopatcher is not working.
The Serial No: R9-0THPA1
Also has anyone worked out why the autopatcher is not actually working with this model and what could be a workaround for this?
Thank you so much.
