Good afternoon, I need help with my BIOS. From what I've seen, this laptop's BIOS has already been tweaked. It came on without any video, the Capslock, Numlock, and Wi-Fi LEDs blink, and it beeps a few times. I tested the BIOS from post 15 and the power LED blinks three times, but it doesn't do anything else. I'll send you the BIOS that came with the laptop.

by Robin21Hello,
Does anyone have a motherboard from the Lenovo T490 model FT490/FT492/FT590/FT531 NM-B901 and could take a picture of the CPU area, including all the components around it? I would be very grateful.
During the CPU replacement process, I messed up all the resistors and capacitors, and now I can't get it to work again. The motherboard was powering up before, but now it doesn't, even with the newly installed CPU. All voltages are okay, and I don't have any shorts, so I'm assuming I'm missing one of the resistors.
I've also followed the schematic and Broadview,... -
by huzoThe board is:
FT490/ FT492/FT590/FT591 NM-B901
So when i press the power button, the keyboard , the power button, caps lock, numlock lights up for a second, fan spins , and it turns back off, that's it ...
Ok, so i opened it, i have 3.3V,5V,1.05V when charger or battery is connected, when i press power button, i get all the voltages on all the coils for a second, except VCCGFXCORE_I , if i read the schematics correctly there should be 1.2V,i don't know if this is or isn't important, because i don't know the sequence and is it a condition for... -
by huzohello guys, can someone check the dump?
when power button is pressed, the keyboard and caps and power button went on for a second, and then died... then i tried flashing dumps i found, and now only gives 3 power light flashes when charger connected... i even restored original dump, and it only lights up power button 3 times....no keyboard light or caps or anything...
the chip is 25Q256JVEQ, 3.3V
the board is FT490/ FT492/FT590/FT591 NM-B901

In a poorly executed attempt to re-program BIOS, I believe I knocked off SMD resistors near the BIOS chip (MACRONIX MX25L25673G) pins 1, 2 and 5. Since the resistors were low values, I attempted to make the repairs using solder blobs. I am inexperienced and the workmanship is admittedly poor. I programmed the BIOS chip with the initial firmware read I performed. In other words, I believe the BIOS firmware currently matches what it was prior to any work I performed.
Here are my current observations.- Board
