The dmi in this bios is crypted.Use a hex editor and use the text search,and look for the word LENV ,it will start at 2A3000. Select the block from 2A3000 - 2A4FFF ,copy and paste it into the new bios,by selecting the same block range.

Hi, is this thread still active? i tried following tthe instructions, and still no boot, i have tried installing post #5, but still no luck, power botton is lighting and the fan spins, but still no display, i did not encounter any error when programming the bios, i used CH341A mini programmer..

it should definitely work if the laptop has a bios problem..it is the bios extracted from the Lenovo website..either you wrote the bios wrong or the laptop has another problem..post the original bios of the laptop..
