I tried yesterday with Intel TXE, I removed this password, but I lost all DMI data!

The extracted hp bios update has a copy of BCU bios config utility, try to enter the DMI info with it.

The strange thing about the bios is the DMI info stored in the TXE area.Attached is your bios with clean TXE ,and the HP bios update,with BCU .

Just use what SMDFlea sent you..

TXE contains SN etc so you would need to reprogram them later anyway.

Post your original bios backup, might have a fix for the DMI.
