Have you got a XOR key ? Cant calculate without key. But why you need to calculate , just fill all of this string in dump with 00 (zeroes).
Try HERE (you`ll need a XOR Key), but in almost all cases password is HASHED.

Why you need to calculate is because otherwise you would need to remove the screen to do that. I doubt anybody would want to do that on a surface if decrypting is this easy.

Hello all. I recently acquired a small army of surfaces and they're functional, but they have a bios password. I've been trying to figure out how to do it myself since there's so many of them, but I'm stuck at the actual decrypting part. I followed the guide from the Panasonic bios recovery on github, but I'm unsure of where the author got the second hex string from. Thanks for any and all help and I have attached a bios file from one of the devices.

If you have a bunch of these, there's a probability that the supervisor password may be the same in all of them, for this one it is (pswrd is case-sensitive):
password = ADP@LSC

There's a GitHub post with the information you are looking for, it's related with a Panasonic ToughBook laptop, you need the XOR key and all you have to do is XOR the "password-block" (you extracted from AMITSEVAR) versus the "xor-key", you will get the result which will be in Hexadecimal numbers (0-9, A-F), then just do the HEX conversion to ASCII to get the password.

Discard the 00h NULL bytes and this translates to:
password = rj45b105

...just XOR the contents of AMITSESetup variable block contents versus the XOR-key.
