Re: Asus ux433fn
Try this bios . You can rename it first to bios.bin ,that will stop the error message (post #5) , the CH341A software doesn`t seem to like anything with numbers, dots and dashes in the filename.Erase the bios first, then blank check, write, read and verify
Edit: The bios at post #4 is corrupt.

Re: Asus ux433fn
If you can`t boot even with the original pass locked bios you must have done something wrong.Dd you attach the LVDS cable after the battery. Have you tried with the battery, screen and all daughter boards connected .Comment

by grimacelordHello,
I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.
I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.
The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.
Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...-

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-

by lrouw84Hi there,
I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..
I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....-
