Re: Dell Latitude 3460 Bios bin plz
Modelell Latitude 3460
MB Marking:LOVE14 BDW 14290-2
Service TAG:65HDZB2
With the bios attached, i get display but it shuts down just after entering bios setup(Doesnt turn on in loop).
I tried to build bios from dell update but failed miserably as the bios region in dell update is 5308KB whereas Bios Region from my bios is 6144KB. I couldnt figure out how to build it as there are other files as well in the extracted bios update and i dont know what to do with them. I've tried clean me of mY bios and result is same.
I request to make a bios from dell update with clean me. Winkey i 'll transfet in new bios.
PS: If someone can guide how to build these type of bios, will be grateful.Attached FilesComment

I couldnt figure out how to build it as there are other files as well in the extracted bios update and i dont know what to do with them.,the extracted text file has the model as
VendorName=Dell Inc.
OemString=Model_File
SystemName=Inspiron 3458
Version=A19
Model=06F0,06F1
The bios version starts with an A ,thats only seen on 5+ year old models. The ME firmware is version 10..

Re: NEED NEW EDIT BIOS FOR DELL Latitude 3460
Inspect the motherboard too, better with the multimeter in hand, or you can replace the CD drive with 2.5" hdd caddy in its place, and use the laptop this way.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-

by TripTopHi
i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
I reinstall...-

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...
