    I have tried some dumps here for the hp 840 g3 i have here. But i still get no display. Kindly work with my backup below

                this new dump turns on but no fan spin, processor does not heat up. but with my previous dump, i get a fan spin, processor heats up, and if i dont insert any ram, it beeps ram error code/beep. so still strongly believe its the bios.

                    Hi experts! I have a laptop that has BIOS password (i think it has an enterprise protection) due to I'm not able to reset password disconnecting battery....

                    Also hard drive is protected to install anything and is not possible to start using usb....

                    Any idea to unlock it?

                                                                    My 840 G3 bios is password protected and i don't have any OS running on it, so all i can provide is the info below and the latest bios i've got from HP website based on my SN.

                                                                                    The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                                                                    I have an EliteBook 850 G5. After a Windows update, including a BIOS update, the notebook turns on, but the screen remains black, and the fans spin at high speed—nothing else happens.

                                                                                    I assume the BIOS update failed, so I searched for the BIOS chip.

                                                                                    I found a Winbond chip located between the RAM and the hard drive, which has a size of 32 MB.

                                                                                    However, the BIOS update available on HP's website is only 17 MB in size. I used the update version that was previously installed when the notebook was still working.
