    I follow the thread and was able to unlock my Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11e 3rd gen. So here the files. Maybe could be useful to someone.
    11e3rd_BIOS1.01PasswordRemoval.bin is for removing BIOS supervisor password
    11e3rd_BIOS1.22 made from FL1 Lenovo BIOS is for flashing after removing the password (or you can use your own dump)

        I have read through this whole thread and have followed along as much as I could (which has been a very interesting learning experience to get this far). Unfortunately, it seems I do not have the right process to get it unlocked yet. If someone could please patch the bios file I attached or please help me figure it out, I would greatly appreciate it.

        Lenovo T470
        Programming using flashrom on Linux with the CH341A programmer
        Attached is the original bios dump
        I have attempted to inject the LenovoTranslateService and BootOption fbd into the PE32 using UEFITools to 'replace body' (PE32 image section).
        After I re-write to the chip and power on I get an 8 beep 'tune' of different sound notes and then nothing, no screen activity, however the power light does stay on.

        Again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

                                I am trying to patch on X240,it switches on;5beeps;seconds later a message crc bla bla error 0189 when ipress f1 i immediately swiches off.can any body help?

I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.

                                                                                    For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... .                                                                                     Its a bit of a long tale but i swapped the original hd for a 2tb ssd,i want about 6 bootable partitions,it needs the uefi enabling in the bios,I am ok with that,the issue is i cant convert the drive to gpt when it has data on it,the issue is windows wont install to a gpt drive,there is a utility from hp to install the efi partition on the drive but it runs on windows,its a chicken and egg thing,can anyone explaine how hp did this?,I am pulling my hair out;it seems i need to run the hp uefi tool to make the uefi option work in the bios, but it needs windows to run this that wont install on a gpt...

Lately it has been bugging me a bit on and off. Then I saw there is a UEFI update from Intel and I thought if I put it on, the problems might be gone, but unfortunately the update didn't go through. The screen stayed black and after waiting for a while nothing happened, I had to pull the plug at some point. Of course, the NUC then failed to boot!
