    lenovo b460 bios

    hello all please i need clean bios dump for lenovo b460 board No:09922-1m la46 uma mb 48.4gv07. 01m
    i av tried flashing the bios with dump gotten from this forum it works but problem is it does not shot down tried different OS but same problem.please i appreciate any help or suggestion. thanks

          but i guess is this same dump i flash my laptop with that it is giving me a never shoting down problem. unless you are so sure your dump is working well.

                  No, I'm not sure about the dump. Better you post your old dump and there are so many experienced members here who can help.

                          Hello all,
                          I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful....

                          This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

                          I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                          Hi everyone,

                          Iā€™m looking for a 2 MB BIOS dump for a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16ARH7H / Legion 5 with mainboard NM-E471 Rev. 2.0.

                          The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q16FW (1.8V, 2MB) and it's completely unresponsive / bricked. I tried recovery via USB but no success. Now I want to reflash it externally using a CH341A programmer.

                          I already found 32MB dumps (e.g. from Vinafix and Badcaps), but they are too large for the chip ā€“ and the last 2MB in those files are just FF FF FF....

                          I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:



                          I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

                          The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                          Suspected Cause:
                          I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
