Hi eveyone,
I'm looking for the bios dump for Acer Aspire VN7-591G (Motherboard: Wistron HADES HBS 14206-1_448.02W02.0011). I'm trying to flash it using CH341A. As I understand, the fd file you can get from the Acer website is not enough.Comment

Now that I have a backup of the bios, can I go ahead and try flashing a few of the dumps I've found and see which one sticks? Is there a chance of permanently damaging the system by flashing the wrong thing?Comment

zip and winrar software can not extract the files correctly, it always give error.
yes, i'm trying my best to edited bios file but acer and lenovo is my major challenges.

I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.
**Problem:** The laptop powers on, but there is no display (black screen) on either the internal LCD or external monitor. This indicates a BIOS compatibility issue with the new graphics card.

I am experiencing the following issue with my laptop. I have an Acer Aspire A717-71G with a motherboard model C5MMH/C7MMH LA-E911P Rev. 1A. Unfortunately, the original board stopped working, so I purchased a replacement. The new board is the same model but a different revision (Rev. 1B). From what I understand, this should not cause compatibility problems.
However, the replacement board came with a BIOS version intended for the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51, which causes the keyboard to function incorrectly. I attempted to reflash the BIOS chip using a CH341A programmer... -

My situation is if I press my laptop power on, fan turns on for the first five seconds and turns off, no display (not even acer), but power indicator is on, and the CPU gets warm, even caught one time if powered on for long (before an hour) the fan turns on again, is it only right that I'm approaching via BIOS?
