Hi Romulo,
I've just bought a TL866 plus programmer and today a client brought a broken Lenovo G40-80.
It turned out the bios was bad.
I used your bios file that you posted here and the notebook now works again.

So you helped me with that file, and it's also the first notebook ever that I could repair by desoldering the bios, programming it and soldering it back.
I had never done that before because I didn't have a programmer.

hi all, i have lenovo g40-80 wont power on. I tried to flash the bios using romulo dump but nothing happened. comparing the original dump with my back up i notice its very diffrent. are there various version of the g40-80 board ?

i tried all files given on this post and also by searching i found same mobo num so i tried those also...my issue is display comes late and secondly after it boots from a pen drive to install windows it just stays on boot screen with win logo and dots moving in circle and it stays there forever...mobo num is NM-A361 notebook model is G40-80 mechine tyep is:80E4 and serial num is:PF0585HU ...last file which i used is attached
