I tried this dump too, still 20 second until post image

Normally, to remove the bios password , I reprogram the EC and the main BIOS with a dump taken from the same machine.
This solves the problem of '' uncommitted state " but remains the delay of 20 seconds before it Appears the hp logo.
What is the solution of this problem?

I haven't this problem "committed state .." , machine work well without errors, only delay at start up. I've used wndmifit and other tools without success, all the serial numbers are correct etc.
What does do a google search? I probably already done.
I just wanted to know what checks the bios during startup that causing the delay.
This problem is very common even on machines with EC and original bios that they have never had any problems.

Is your PCID correct? if you use bios that was original on that pc then me is not problem
if its fro m another pc, then maybe its me region
must enter all data in nbdmifit not only ones you see in bios it will stop doing that

I tried to update ME region but using UEFITool_0.3.0 not appear the "descriptor" and I can not continue ..
This is the EC and the BIOS dump.
But the PCID is stored in other parts as well as in EC ?

Ok, thanks, I'm starting to reprogram the two chips.
I notice that in your main bios ME region is present and in EC file some data as SKU, serial , PCID, etc has changed.
You know a tool to change data in EC memory directly with software ?
this chip is placed in a bad position to use clamp and must be desoldered.
I tried RWeverything with no luck

2. To change from directly using windows HP BCUtility (32/64bit)..try google how to using... clue : you playing TXT ,,,read,edit,write

The delay remain the same and the bios is for 850 not for 840
Unfortunately, this information is in the EC separate memory from the main bios, I'm searching a tool to reprogram this chip without having to unsolder.
but I solved it by soldering wires between the chip and the programmer.
The problem remains if you want to experiment

software tool as RWEverything but with the possibility to write on the EC memory chip. Probably, if it is possible, in linux there is something like ftpw64 (dos for main bios)

which i know are only HPBCUtiilty...wndmifit not completed only serial number and cannot uuid please you try first hpbcu...give me hbcutility txt read output..

Use Intel Flash Image Tool, Open your existing bios(with late display). Just Change Intel me Region with same version and build Image. This will solve late display problem.
