    820-2936-b efi bios chip replace

hi, i have a macbook that requires efi pin password.

    so i do these actions:

    - desolder old efi chip (u6100)
    - solder a new one

now when i power on the white led blink and it power off after one second

    - so i put the old efi chip but now i have the same result

    what i'm doing wrong?

do fan spin for some times or just spin a bit and immediately shut down?

without bios does it stay on ?

looks like same problem i have with a macbook pro.

that aint great soldering. use hot air for desolder that kind of ocmponent and use good flux. plus clean whole part with ipa.

so without bios it stay on for 3 seconds only ?

                macbook received and fixed

have to check if efi password is removed, but should be fine. (put anothe rbios chip on it), but unfortunately one macbook hard drive i had is dead....
