Hello Community,
I recently tried to change the Batterie on my Omen by HP Laptop 17 an104ng and after putting in the new batterie ([Batterie Link](https://www.amazon.de/7xinbox-17-AN0...7&sr=8-10&th=1) I know it is not offical, but it should still work
) my Laptop wouldn't start again. No fan noises, no keyboard LED, nothing. All it did was flash the on button in orange for around 3 seconds and then the light was off for around 3 seconds in a repeating pattern. I thought I had destroyed the motherboard so I gave the Laptop to a friend of mine who is an expert with hardware. He measured everything and all the electricity went were it should. But apperantly if you don't have the power cable connected to the Laptop while changing the batterie, the BIOS Chip on the motherboard doesn't recieve electricity (because it doesnt have a backup batterie like every other BIOS chip for some reason) and it breaks. So the problem is most likely a destroyed BIOS file on the chip.
So now I have tried to reflash the BIOS onto the BIOS Chip (Serial Number: **AH1826 25B127DSIG U85917)** using a EEPROM BIOS USB programmer CH341A ([The one I bought](https://www.amazon.de/EEPROM-Program...0961473&sr=8-4)) and the programm NeoProgrammer. I got the BIOS file from the official HP Website of my Laptop (https://support.hp.com/at-de/drivers...model/22529201). When detecting the Chip with the Clipper it said that it was a GD25Q127C with 3.3V, a size of 128Mbits and a page of 256 Bytes. So I have tried writing the BIOS file onto the BIOS chips with Off-Protect, Erase, Blank-Check,Write and Verify enabled but it didn't work. The BIOS file I used was named 08466.bin and had a size of 16.384KB ([The BIOS file i used](https://limewire.com/d/tcBDg#0MAK0CfaO4)) . So now following are my questions:
Did I use the correct BIOS file, if no where can I get the correct file?
Do I need to change something in the BIOS file to use it (like putting in the serial number or ME Firmware Cleaning)?
Did I do everything correctly in the BIOS reflashing progress using Neo Programmer?
Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a solution on your mind, thanks
