Ec-bios LA-A994p needed.

Hi,

Ec-bios (KB9012QF) for Compal ZS050 LA-A994p needed.

Signal EC_ON not present with original dump and other found in internet.

This signal curiously is present with a non compatible dump also found in internet.

In the zip file are the original one and the presumable compatible. (both has the signature ZSO40)

Also included the one that works partially**. (signature ZSO51)

** at least signal EC_ON is present and power led is on for 5 seconds.

Sadly it does't work, it behaves like the original Kb9012 dump.

Probably the kbc is damaged, but it works** with ZSO51 dump.

I wonder if the original files were modified by someone else, or it was a bad bios update.

I'm uploading the pch-bios, just in case someone can confirm it correspond to this motherboard.

chip: winbond 25q64fwsig

tried other bin files for hp 15 from other posts but doesnt work
best result i had is its looking for cpu fan but the unit only has a heatsink for cooling
