Hmm! I understand, so I can't disable RAM with this BIOS version or through hardware modifications.
    Oh well, that's the game!
If anyone finds a solution soon, I'd be interested.
Thanks for the clarification, and for your time SMDFlea! 🙏

    Thanks for your reply, SMDFlea.
I renamed the BIOS to "disableram.bin" and followed the instructions correctly, but I get the error message you see in the screenshot.
I also found the post about disabling RAM by moving the resistor, but it doesn't apply to my motherboard because I have the green motherboard and not the blue one (same scenario as on the page in the link you provided). Others have already asked the question for my version of this motherboard, and it says that on this model, it's done in the BIOS (according to what I found on badcaps).
    That's why I took...

This bios does not work, with this file, the computer does not turn on for more than 5 seconds then turns off immediately while it remained on with the original dump....

    Hello.

I have an Asus A712EA which no longer starts since the last Windows update. I suspect Windows Update of having tried to update the bios and having corrupted it, because currently, I have the charging indicator when I plug in the charger and I have the power indicator when I press the on/off button but nothing more, i have a fan spin but that's all.
Could someone check this bios and if it is broken, repair it?

The Motherboard model is X712EA R2.0
    Laptop SN : N4N0CV09W885165

I'm sorry, google translate is useful but not perfect. 😂

  • Hello !
I have a HP 15-ac148nf, AHL50/ABL52 LA-C701P Rev:1.0 that turns on but does not start.

    Here is the SN: CND6494FV9
Here is the product ID: T8U02EA#ABF

Could I have confirmation that it is indeed the bios that is corrupted and if so, a dump of this corrected bios?

    Thank you in advance !...

After testing, I think I burned the regulator used to power the bios by using a programmer of very dubious manufacture, I'm ordering a new regulator and a programmer worthy of the name and I'll tell you if everything works as soon as possible.
    Thank you!

  • Hello !

I have an Asus E410MA that came to me with a password on the bios.

I wanted to flash the bios with one of those provided by asus but they only provide files with the extension .306 and I do not understand how to exploit this.
I searched the forum and found a lot of interesting information and tutorials but either I do not understand or I looked in the wrong place.

Could someone help me first to remove this password from this bios and why not, explain to me how it was done?

    Thank you in advance!

I tried to follow the guide to flash it myself but I have two problems, the first is that the bios that Asus provides is not in .bin and no way to recover the .bin, the second problem is It says that the original version of my bios is 202 for my motherboard on the label but on the card it is written X705UQ REV2.0.

Concretely, I can't figure it out.

I will post the photos of the labels to you, it will certainly be more meaningful for you.

    TY
