I also have this computer model and I'm getting a startup error code that corresponds to a corrupted BIOS.
It's an HP 260 G4 Desktop Mini PC.
The serial number is 8CC2083DFW
Product No. 5W6J0EA#ABF

It’s the first time I’ve come across a BIOS in this format!
Is it possible to remove or recover the password?

ASUS TUF707ZR - BIOS password
Hi everyone,
I have an ASUS TUF707ZR laptop with a BIOS supervisor password.
I’ve dumped the SPI flash (2 MB Winbond W25Q16JW).
Someone experienced can help me remove the password ?

When injecting 5 V at 1 A into the 5 V rail inductor, only the CPU unit shows an immediate rise in temperature. No other component on the circuit exhibits any significant thermal dissipation.
These observations strongly suggest that the short is internal to the CPU, which is most likely defective.

"Hey guys, I’m working on the same motherboard in my lab right now and running into the same issue: the 3V/5V chip is shorted, and the transistors around the Richtek chip are running hotter than they should.
I pulled the 3.3V and 5V inductors and injected 3.3V at 0.8A — turns out the 5V rail goes straight into the CPU.
Just sharing in case it helps someone else out."

I'm currently trying to flash the ITE IT8987E EC chip using a RT809HSE programmer.
I've followed all the known SPI ISP procedures:- Verified 3.3V is present on pin 106 (VHSPI)
- Connected FSCK, FMOSI, FMISO, FSCE#, and GND correctly to the ISP port of the RT809H
- Forced WRST# (pin 14) and CS# (pin 101) to GND
Despite all this, the RT809H always returns:
ID: FFFF, Ver: FF → ID verification error
It seems the EC is either not entering ISP mode or not responding at all.
Has anyone successfully flashed an IT8987E in-circuit using the RT809H?...Leave a comment:

HP OMEN 17-an012nf BIOS dump with EC (DAG3BAMBAF0 REV : F)
Hello,
I'm requesting a full BIOS dump (including EC firmware) for an HP OMEN 17-an012nf laptop.
Details:
Model : HP OMEN 17-an012nf
Motherboard Part Number : DAG3BAMBAF0 REV : F
Serial Number (S/N) : 5CD7280D51
BIOS chip : Winbond W25Q64VSIQ
Programmer : EZP2023+
Issue : The motherboard is not powering on. Only the 5V rail is present. The 3.3V rail is missing because EN1 on the SY8286B remains stuck at 0V. This signal is driven directly by the EC/SIO. I replaced the 3.3V regulator and confirmed it's working.

Hmm! I understand, so I can't disable RAM with this BIOS version or through hardware modifications.
Oh well, that's the game!

I renamed the BIOS to "disableram.bin" and followed the instructions correctly, but I get the error message you see in the screenshot.
I also found the post about disabling RAM by moving the resistor, but it doesn't apply to my motherboard because I have the green motherboard and not the blue one (same scenario as on the page in the link you provided). Others have already asked the question for my version of this motherboard, and it says that on this model, it's done in the BIOS (according to what I found on badcaps).
