Macbook Pro Core I7 A2251 EMC3348 Help Remove MDM

Good afternoon. My client brought me a Mac A2251 EMC 3348 that he bought at a sale. The computer is completely iCloud-free, but it came with MDM installed. He has tried contacting the company that provides the MDM in every way possible, but they are unwilling to offer a solution. The device is:
    Model A2251 EMC 3348. Serial Number: C02G54CZML85
    Apple MacBook Pro Core i7 2.3, 13" 2020, 512 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM.
I've tried changing the serial number of the SoC ROM MX25U3235F, but it hasn't worked:
C02G54CZML84 only works up to Monterey.
    C02G54CZML86 doesn't work (I didn't try it with Monterey).
    C02D54CZML85 doesn't work Black Screen.
Additionally, I haven't been able to enter DFU mode. Could someone help me? Thank you very much.

SOLVED: I had another identical motherboard for spares. I tried installing the MX25U3235F on the motherboard with MDM, and the computer automatically booted into DFU mode. I restored it with Apple Configurator 2, then updated it with CMD+R. It's working perfectly now, 100%. Issue closed. Thanks for the help.

Macbook A2251 820-01949A - 20v not powering on or charging
        by tccyo22
Hi there, this one has me stumped. Quick back story is this macbook had a very small liquid damage on one side of charge ports which burnt the connector. I've currently got that side of USB ports disconnected and I've replaced the connector and the CD3217 that was stopping the macbook from transitioning to 20v. (It was originally stuck at 5v 0a) and I'm using the other side to diagnose this board.

I now get 20v and it appears as though the macbook is attempting to boot but it's failing? On connection of usb power I watch the voltage swap from 5v to 20v and sit at 0.1a for 2-3 seconds...

        MacBook Pro A2251 - 820-01949-A not charging

Hello everyone, I have a MacBook Pro 13” 2020 (Four ports) (Model A2251 with the 820-01949-A logicboard). It had some minor liquid damage but I carefully cleaned the logic board with alcohol and let it dry as needed. Now I encounter following situation: The MacBook does start but the Battery is not charging when a cable is plugged in any of the ports (I use the powerbrick and cable that came with the device). It had some charge left, so I could safe some data, but I was limited my the 13% and the speed of airdrop. The liquid-damage is almost only limited to the side of the logic board where...

Macbook Pro - A2251 - No power when battery is connected
        by manymonsteras
I am hoping to get some advice. I have a 2020 13" Macbook Pro - A2251 that wouldn't turn on. I have done lots of electronics repair in the past but never on Macbooks. I have had this laptop sitting around and I finally decided to take a look at it and see if I could spring some life into it.

First, it wouldn't boot up at all. I did a DFU restore and managed to get it to power on. Did a full restore but the battery was dead and wouldn't charge. I put in a new battery in it but now it won't boot up when the new battery is connected. I ordered a second new battery just in case,...

MacBook pro A2251 820-01949 no power, only 5v
        by troumb
Hello, I have a Macbook pro A2215 820-01949 that’s only draws 5.154v at 0.024a (reliably drops to 0.007 after a minute or so)

The board is not water damaged, and no obvious sign of blown components.

I tried DFU mode but no response (though when plugged into another mac it drew 20v 0a).

There’s a short somewhere on PP3V3_G3H, but I'm struggling to locate the faulty component

I've taken the following voltage readings:

        PP3V3_G3H_RTC is 3.387v
        PPBUS_G3H is 12.294v
        PP1V5_UPC_LDO_CORE_T is 1.587

MacBook Air 13 2014 - Remove EFI password
        by ritalo
        Hello,

        I have a MacBook Air 13 inches 2014.

I have set a EFI password and I can't remember it : now I want to reinstall macOS and I can't because the MacBook is asking for the password.

I know how to remove the password with a usb programmer.
I plug the usb programmer to the motherboard and to my pc with usb, I read the EFI and I save it to a file.

Then I have to find this value in the file : $SVS because it indicate where is the password.

But I can't find the value.

        I have attached the file

        Thank...
