    MacBook Pro A2251 - 820-01949-A not charging

Hello everyone, I have a MacBook Pro 13” 2020 (Four ports) (Model A2251 with the 820-01949-A logicboard). It had some minor liquid damage but I carefully cleaned the logic board with alcohol and let it dry as needed. Now I encounter following situation: The MacBook does start but the Battery is not charging when a cable is plugged in any of the ports (I use the powerbrick and cable that came with the device). It had some charge left, so I could safe some data, but I was limited my the 13% and the speed of airdrop. The liquid-damage is almost only limited to the side of the logic board where the audio jack is located, not going further than 2cm into the logicboard. I took a visual inspection of the board and could not see any blown capacitor, I measured a lot of the caps and none were shorted. When the cable is plugged in I can measure the 12.4V, without the cable none, probably because the battery is empty. I bought a thermal camera and a USB Meter to get more information for the diagnosis. I could measure 3.3v across some places. I will look deeper into the schematic to get an idea of the problem but need to get a second computer for that. Do you guys have an idea where the problem comes from? Which lines should I measure to get a better understanding of what's wrong?

Due to work I can continue diagnosing it next week, and then I will have access to a microscope and the thermal camera and the meter should have arrived until this point.

I will update you guys when I find out more.
    Thanks

Maybe the battery itself is bricked.

Are you getting 20V negotiated on USB-C and what is the current flow? Check battery flex cable for corrosion etc, SMBUS lines to battery etc. Go to System Report/Power, is battery data reported? Service Recommended etc?

MAC OS doesn't report charging till about 1 minute after being plugged in, even though battery is charging.
