    [Need BIOS] ASUS ROG G513R-MP-VGT 6050A3348202-MB-A02 2021-12-14

    Hello,
I need BIOS DUMP for :

    Motherboard: G513R-MP-VGT 6050A3348202-MB-A02 2021-12-14
    Chip: W74M25JWEIQ

    Model: ROG R713RC-HX032
    S/N: R2NRKD012804086
    CN: ANJJ
    MFD: 2023-02

I completely destroyed the BIOS chip while trying to remove it from the board. The package came out and the silicon cracked \[ Do chips need 400˚C heat to be removed from board nowadays?]

I would appreciate if someone could also post a picture from the bios area, as I blew off a resistor which I'm not sure where to put back. I couldn't find the boardview for exact board model.

Any help would be appreciated. 🖤

    Thanks.

Post a clear picture of the QR code sticker on the board, or scan it and post its content, this is for BIOS identification
ASUS is a bit weird, sometimes laptop model in the back cover doesn't match BIOS model name, or board model number

As for resistors near the BIOS area, hope this picture helps, it's from 6050A3348206-MB-A01. from another thread (not mine)

      Thanks for your reply,

Here is the sticker also the board number attached.

      The QR links to: https://qs.asus.com/R2NRKD012804086

The resistors I kicked out are just under the heatpipe, therefore are not visible on the picture you sent, but I appreciate the effort. I attached the current placement I have.

      Thanks

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
                by grimacelord
                Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 - real bios dump from board needed (no stock bios)
                by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...

                ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                Some issues
                A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

ASUS ROG Ally X - (Handheld Gaming PC)
                Model No: RC72LA

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...
