Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. If anyone can help with a BIOS for this laptop it would be greatly appreciated (I even promise a forum donation!) - basically after battery removal, I powered on and got a brief flash of a message about making a recovery BIOS USB (which I have tried multiple times, to no avail) but then just a black screen. Since attempting a BIOS recovery, I don't even now get that brief message, so whether it did actually start trying to update or not I'm not sure, but nothing appeared on screen at any point.
I've now removed the chip from the board and taken a dump file from it... -

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I'm not looking for a specific BIOS file, I'm trying to understand how one makes a clean BIOS file. So here's the background. I have 2 HP EliteDesk 800 g2 mini 35w pcs. One is working fine; the other doesn't have display out or working USB's nor does it have any flashing error lights. The CPU does get worm enough to cause the fan to spin up, so I think it's posting, but I just don't know.
