Hello,
I am currently working on recovering my HP Laptop (Model: 17-cn0023dx) after a BIOS corruption issue. The laptop is stuck in a no-boot state, and the Caps Lock light is blinking with a 3.2 code (3 long, 2 short), which according to HP documentation indicates a BIOS corruption failure.
I have prepared a USB stick using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool, but I confirmed that it does not include a BIOS recovery image for Crisis Recovery. I also attempted to extract the BIOS file from the spXXXXX BIOS update package provided on the HP Support site, but that update only provides WinFlash.exe without a valid BIOS capsule or recovery image.
The laptop will enter Crisis Recovery Mode using Windows+V + Power (the blink pattern stops), but does not find a valid BIOS image on the USB, which suggests the BIOS file is missing.
Can you please provide me with the correct BIOS recovery image file (.BIN or .FD) for this model, suitable for Crisis Recovery via USB? This would allow me to complete the recovery process and restore functionality.
Thank you for your help!
