    I see, thank you for the information and reply! I messed up with BIOS settings and accidentally saved, which led to bricking of the device. (More details on my problem here in this thread: [url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=125378[/url])

    I now know that this chip is readable with other programmer softwares. I was using ASprogrammer but it cannot read this chip.

    By the way, did you desolder your chip and solder back, or did you just use this clip? It is very difficult to...

    Hi. I think I have a similar problem.

    Can I know which programmer are you using to flash/read/dump for 25R256JWEQ?

    Also, what software are you using, since I cannot find this specific chip on the ASprogrammer database. Thank you.

  • Lenovo LOQ 15 APH8 (7840H, 4060) BIOS chips not detected

    Problem: Soft Bricked Laptop, Lenovo LOQ 15(Geekpro G5000) 7840H, 4060

    Background: After adjusting the Advanced BIOS options (Fn+R+N) and accidentally changing settings about RAM & Graphics, pressed F10 (Save & Exit), then Blank(Blank) screen, led power lights on - soft bricked occured.

    Goal:To reset the BIOS Chip/s to be able to boot back to the machine

    Attempted:
    I tried to dump and reflash a BIOS file with CH431A clip on: [INDENT]winbond
    25Q16JWIQ 2309 6222 DGA400ZX
    winbond
    25R256JWEQ 2239 6236 M0022
