It is for me the first time that i try to read a bios chip.

Can someone please tell me where the bios chip is located on the Dell latitude 5350?
Or maybe send a link where i could identify the location.
    🙏

if the chip is not on one side, look for it on the other side, should we come and turn your board over? should we help you remove it from the screws?..you already received an answer...how can we know, on all boards, where the bios chips are located..take out the radiator, take out the coolers, do something...you are too lazy to look for the chip, you can't find the chip, but you want to remove the password..

    Hello guys,

i removed the board and searched for other bios chips, but as you can see from the pictures, there are no others on the lower side.

This model has apparently only one bios chip.

Please find attached the last reading of the chip.
Is someone capable of removing the password?

Sorry for responding late. I had to place order for another bios programmer to enable me read it correctly. The bios chip now reads 512kb instead is 512 mb. The bin file is saved as 64kb instead of 64mb. I got a new bios chip with the same number and it still reads the same 512kb . What do I do at this point sir.

What is the part number on the chip, read what is written on top of it. Post chip part number and the 64kb backup

The chip isn`t supported, yet. The chip is 1.8V . Choose a different 1.8V 512MB chip in the support list and click on Read , NOT Read-ID. Untick Auto-verify

EDIT: Correction, the chip is supported, you have to select 1.8V

Yes, I read the chip wrongly with a programmer that could not determine the file size. I do not have another backup

I told you chipset is 1.8V yet you chose 3.3V to read it!

I ordered 5 pieces of that chip and the chip that I used right now at 1.8V gives the same reading

                                      Bios Chip: 25lr512meyig
I removed the BIOS chip and read it using RT809H but i showed nothing so i used algorithm GD55R512ME@WSON8 8X6 to read the chip and then used patcher to patch it and soldered it back again.
But there is no output and the Battery LED turn Amber when pressed power button. Can anybody help ?

I have a Dell Latitude 5530 with a damaged RJ45 network connector. See the attached pictures.

Have already searched on Farnell / Aliexpress / Ebay and had contact with several suppliers on Aliexpress and Ebay, but they cannot deliver this connector.
Is there someone inside the EU, who has these connector(s) or perhaps defective motherboard(s) for these laptop models I have mentioned in the topic title.

                                        Hi

I have a Dell Latitude 5350 Ultra 7 Motherboard I am trying to repair that has a blown chip.

The chip is marked as eHOLH similar to the one I have pictured.

Any ideas what it does and what the pin outs are as 3 tracks have gone and need to find out what / where they went / did etc.

Dell PN of the motherboard is 08DCGW.

Below is the area I am trying to repair:

Does anyone have a picture of this motherboard in this area they could take and upload?

                                        Cheers...

BIOS password locked Dell Latitude 3440 (Service tag B4HNJX3)
Have extracted the BIN and want to know how to rebuild a clean BIOS

I have come across the 8F8C patcher but not sure if that would work in my case as the service tag ends in 0001.
I tried it and although the log states it patched several mentions of 8F8C in the BIN, I haven't flashed it yet in case such a patch wouldn't work.

Have also tried to extract a clean BIN file from Dell's .exe BIOS updates using 'Dell PFS Extractor', but not confidently; Ended up with a 25MB file instead of the same 32MB...
