    Hello everyone,
I need working bios bin file for Dell latitude 5350. I was trying to unlock it but my programmer did not read the content correctly. It has a single bios chip. Thanks in advance

Depending on the suffix you may be able to unlock it yourself, read the dell password post - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...23#post1622423

Thank you sir for your quick response. This motherboard has a single chip which should be larger than 32mb . I will appreciate if some can build my original file so that it can have it's real size and work well. Thanks

I have tried your fixed file and still no display. I guess the real file is more than 32mb, maybe something like 64mb. I read and erased the original file without determining the chip size.
I still need help on this please!!!

I got a Latitude 5350 with a locked bios, it uses only 1 bios chip (W25R512NWEQ) 64mb file. I've already made 6 different backups and none of them are the same, making the comparison with HxD. The most bizarre thing is that this model does not contain Intel Engine/Graphics/Independent Firmware. I'll leave some files here so you can analyze them, this model is very strange.

it has ME Fw 18.0.5.2141 and MEAnalyzer doesn't recognize it. Without having 2 identical backups of bios chipset I don't advise to erase it. Pay attention, is 1.8V chipset.

Exactly! I've made 6 backups so far, and none of them are the same, the ones I put here are just 2 of 6. I made backup using CH341 with Neoprogram and 4 others with rt809f, and none of them are the same.

I was able to make identical backups! I simply removed the 1.8v adapter and made the backup on the CH341, selecting the chip "W25Q512JV", and the RT809f already has the correct chip, which is "W25Q512NW".
The backups were all identical, and I was able to remove the BIOS password. I hope the information will be useful to future colleagues in the area.

                                        Looking for Dell Latitude 5520 / 5530 / 5540 RJ45 network connector replacement
                                        by diamon
I have a Dell Latitude 5530 with a damaged RJ45 network connector. See the attached pictures.

Have already searched on Farnell / Aliexpress / Ebay and had contact with several suppliers on Aliexpress and Ebay, but they cannot deliver this connector.
Is there someone inside the EU, who has these connector(s) or perhaps defective motherboard(s) for these laptop models I have mentioned in the topic title.

                                        Pictures of these boards:

                                        Hi

I have a Dell Latitude 5350 Ultra 7 Motherboard I am trying to repair that has a blown chip.

The chip is marked as eHOLH similar to the one I have pictured.

Any ideas what it does and what the pin outs are as 3 tracks have gone and need to find out what / where they went / did etc.

Dell PN of the motherboard is 08DCGW.

Below is the area I am trying to repair:

Does anyone have a picture of this motherboard in this area they could take and upload?

                                        Cheers...

BIOS password locked Dell Latitude 3440 (Service tag B4HNJX3)
Have extracted the BIN and want to know how to rebuild a clean BIOS

I have come across the 8F8C patcher but not sure if that would work in my case as the service tag ends in 0001.
I tried it and although the log states it patched several mentions of 8F8C in the BIN, I haven't flashed it yet in case such a patch wouldn't work.

Have also tried to extract a clean BIN file from Dell's .exe BIOS updates using 'Dell PFS Extractor', but not confidently; Ended up with a 25MB file instead of the same 32MB...
