because it's standalone you don't need to install the dotnet-runtime-6.0.29-win-x86 to run the program. its with the exe

dell latitude 5510 8fc8 bios password, I understood that in order to use this I need to backup the bios and patch it with the program you made. But I could not backup even though I downloaded Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0. I added the error as a photo

Is it not possible to remove the bios password without intervening in the hardware? I bought this Dell Latitude 5510 (8FC) 5 6 months ago from another user. I am currently using a notebook. I will install a 1tb with a 256 gb ssd. I had to enter the bios and make settings. In order to install windows on the new ssd. I did not intervene when I saw the bios password. The notebook is completely locked..

                          Hi there,

Can you explain from the beginning to the end? I mean, how do I extract the .bin file? My assumption is to remove the chip and backing it up with the SPI programmer. Is that correct? If yes, which application do I need to back it up and restore it?

It would be much clearer to us all to make a guide from beginning to end how to use this. The example video for the SPI programmer doesn't have the working links.

We would appreciate when you make all of this clear for us all. Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of videos on the internet, you just have to search.

here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

I did a dell 7420 bios pswrd removal. buy a T48. Soldered 8 wires onto the ic. Mine was a wson-8 package so some room for 0,05 wire with micro soldering tip. I removed the motherboard completly but did not unsolder the ic (winbond 25r256jven). Use w25q256jv in t48 xgecu software.
extract .bin. Patch, write back, voila.

My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

                                          Hey, i bought a Dell Optiplex 5000 8fc8 with chip W25Q128JVSN.
I also used the CH341A programmer but my usb cable (i didnt attach it directly into the pc, i used a cable between) was corrupted. So i made a dump. Then i removed the password but unfortunately the dump had a loose contact so it was corrupted. And i've also overwrited the chip and now i dont have any dump anymore.

Can someone help me? I am stuck since hours and i cannot find any bin file anywhere.
I tried to extract the EXE for BIOS installation from dell and also the rcv file but i didn't manage to do that....

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                                          by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Dell Latitude 5410 - Stuck at "Dell Security Manager" - 8FC8
                                          by aquanutz
Does anyone have experience in generating the master bios password for Dell Latitude 5410 with the 8FC8 tag?

                                          #63PR273-8FC8

Can't actually boot the laptop to dump the bios, it immediately goes to the "Dell Security Manager" screen asking for a password.

                                          Any help is greatly apprecaited.
