Until files are recovered on the forums, here is my copy I had stored away to help those who still need it. Once files have been recovered it can then be deleted.

After flashing your bios: press F2 to enter bios setup, write service tag, save, restart, press alt+F to exit factory mode.

I have used your patcher and it worked fabulous.

It is perhaps possible for you, to make this patcher in english?
Could you also please re-upload those files?

You don`t really need a video it`s simple, just drag your bios over the exe .

I don't know where the error is. I'll tell you what I'm doing in case anyone can help.
The computer is a Dell D15U, OptiPlex Micro Plus 7020. It's functional, but has a BIOS password (8FC8). I read the 25R256 chip (32MB) with an SVOD4. When I run the patch, I get the error mentioned above.

Software looked for 5AA5F00F03 in your dump, and didn't find it.
Are you sure, you picked the right chip.

Did you download recently the newest version (from first post), that one is in English.

I've already found the error. There were actually two errors.
The first was that I was using the wrong BIOS. I had to work with the smaller one, the 16MB one.
And the second error was that the first dump of that BIOS I used was with tweezers without desoldering it. And it seems the binary file was incorrect.

Everything's fine now. Thank you all very much.

The BIOS memory chip is GD25B256D, I've already read data from the chip. Could you please help me to patch the bin file? Actually I don't know how to use Badcaps 8FC8 Patcher.exe patcher, as the video link is not working.

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
