    DAG71MB16D0 REV: D EC Dump

    Hi,

I am in need of an EC dump for this motherboard: DAG71MB16D0 REV: D with a ITE IT8987E that got badly corroded. It is for an HP latptop model 15-CC504NP and with the following serial number: 5CD7244H6T.
The original got water damage and is badly corroded and missing pins so I can't read a dump from it to flash the new one.
Attacched some pictures if it helps.

Here is the BIOS dump. If you succeed to extract de EC could you please indicate the area where it is located for future reference? Or what I should look for to identificate the EC area in a BIOS dump?
Extracted EC. Search for the word ITE . First offset is at 200000 .

Post your bios backup. We might be able to extract the EC from that.

Worked flawlessly! Thanks once again for the extraction and for the explanation so in the future I can look first in the BIOS for it.
